There was no one to greet us at check-in even though the host had indicated that either he or his team member would be present. The property was left unlocked with the keys inside. We found the apartment cluttered with host’s personal items. Wardrobes were full of clothes and other personal items. Kitchen units and the refrigerator were full of used food and the microwave oven contained half eaten food. The washing machine still had a load of clothes. Despite the host claiming that kitchen was fully equipped, there was no water filter or toaster. Some pots and pans had broken handles. The refrigerator and kitchen were not properly cleared or cleaned. There was no space for us to hang our clothes or store our own food. For some reason the host seemed reluctant to share his full name. For the forgoing reasons we cancelled our reservation and did not stay at the apartment. The property has potential: only if the host addresses the mentioned issues.
