Despite its seclusion, Moinhos do Paneiro is a short drive to Santiago do Cacém, which offers all your modern amenities, ensuring convenience while preserving the rustic allure of Alentejo living. There are plenty of spaces for parking within our grounds. Access is available via electronic gates, ensuring privacy and security. A car or bike is necessary to find us, unless you are hiking the Rota Vicentina. The nearest large town is 16km away but there is the small village of Sonega where you'll find lots of traditional Portuguese cafes and bars just 6km away. We are located on the Rota Vicentina hiking route and are the perfect stop for walking enthusiasts.
