The house had no toiletries when we arrived. No hand wash or soap or shampoo in any of the bathroom room. When I messaged the host about toiletries they sent me a few rolls of toilet paper. I had to describe to them what toiletries meant so they then send me a few things like shampoo and conditioner and not everything. It is pretty basic for any Airbnb to have soap shampoo conditioner, toothpaste and hand wash especially if it’s listed as part of amenities. Wifi is not working, garbage was piled up in the house this was causing a stale dead rat kind of smell throughout the house. The master bed smelled of smoke and the bed was very unstable. Informed the local guest contact but this was not fixed. The local guest contact called me to tell me she can’t help & that she will refund me for the inconvenience caused during the stay but nothing was done after. The check out instructions actually ask you to clean utensils and remove trash but they still charge cleaning fee. Don’t book here.

Pricing is great, place is cozy, location was perfect. We usually stay in Visalia closer to downtown which is a little further from Ivanhoe but this house was only three minutes away from our family members house which was very convenient The only negative I have to say and is the reason why I would not rent this house again is the master bedroom smells like a smoker lives there and for a non-smoking house I don’t understand why it smells like cigarette smoke.
