莫比尔(Mobile) · 整套乡村小屋 · 2室2床2.0卫 · 可住5人 · Lydia's Cottage
This 1920’s Craftsman style cottage home is located in one of the historical districts in Mobile, and less than 1.5 from downtown and all of the night life and entertainment. Grocery stores and other food establishments are very close. There is a dog park 3 blocks away. This is a 1400 Sq. Ft. home with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Great for families or long term stays. It has a huge master bedroom located in the quiet back end of the house. It has a large parking area in the back of the house with plenty of room for trailer or boat, but nothing over 25 ".
Lisa was and prompt and friendly responsive host. Her home was warm and welcoming with clear instructions and the accommodations made out feel like home. There were even snacks... including popsicles and popcorn; as well trinkets from Mardi Gras AND although I didn't have a pet, there were even treats if I had. Check in/ instructions were easy and clear. Lisa was a great host!
Very nice and cozy home on a quiet street in downtown Mobile. This home gave me the feeling of New Orleans. We came to celebrate Mardi Gras and to attend a Mardi Gras ball. The Backyard was large enough for our out of town military guests to park and Uber to the ball at the convention center, which was a plus. I did, however, somewhat feel as though we were being watched by the Ring camera on the porch as we waited for our Uber to arrive because an email followed up shortly informing me to make sure all of the guest leave by 11 PM, which in fact we left at 8pm to make it to the ball in time. The host did inform me that there is a neighborhood noise curfew, so I guess that email was understandable. Just be mindful of that if you plan to stay here. All in all, it was a nice weekend and a perfect location.
Nice place. Stayed there one night on our way home after a long drive. Felt right at home. A lot of space. Heat worked well which we appreciated on a crisp winter night. Communication was very responsive and clear. Would stay here again if passing through Mobile.
