You can't beat the location of this hotel condo atop Ghirardelli Square -- within walking distance of so many attractions and with great restaurants right at your doorstep. The unit is part of the Fairmont hotel/condo facility, so you have all of the conveniences of a hotel, such as valet parking, assistance with luggage, staffed front desk, etc. We had a group of 7 (5 adults and 2 young kids) and were very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with basic dishware and cookware, coffee and espresso machines, and a tea kettle; but, you won't find pantry staples or some other basic kitchen supplies (e.g. foil, plastic wrap, bags, ...). Typical for a hotel-style condo, so be sure to bring your own if you need them. The bedrooms were all large and well-appointed, each with its own en suite bathroom. Noise wasn't an issue, despite being right above the square. Really a great place to explore SF from (and to grab a hot fudge sundae when you're worn out)!
