You will fall in love with this home's convenient location. You are located right in the heart of Port St. Joe and within walking distance of the public beach. If you are interested in fishing, this is the home for you! There are several fishing charters just a short walk or drive away. Come back home from a successful fishing trip, clean the catch of the day using the fish cleaning station, and then rinse off in the outdoor shower before going inside and turning everything into a delicious homemade meal. This two-story home features an inviting living room where you all can spread out comfortably after a fun-filled day! Stream entertaining movies and series on the smart TV or gather around the center coffee table to play some of the provided board games. Whoever gets to be the chef during the trip will have a blast cooking in the well-appointed kitchen. Complete with modern stainless steel appliances and everything needed to prepare culinary masterpieces, the kitchen will make cooking a breeze. When the sun sets, step outside to take in the beautiful views as you all gather around the firepit for some storytelling. Then, when it's finally time to hit the hay, four comfortable bedrooms await. Additional amenities include covered boat parking, a laundry room with a washer/dryer, and central AC. <b>THINGS TO KNOW</b> The indoor grill and the stairs on the backside of the home are not for guest use. The upstairs one-bedroom apartment, which is locked from both sides of the door, has a long-term tenant. 4 dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval. <br/>Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. <br/>Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Home is in a lovely location walkable to downtown Port St. Joe. The 2 additional bedrooms are in a separate space connected by the deck. It provided enough space for our group of 8 adults to celebrate New Years together.
Our group of 11 enjoyed staying here! We had plenty of space with a nice amount of room in the living room area- enough seating for all of us to sit around comfortably. The house was a great size for our party size. The house was in a great location to access the downtown Port St Joe area, so we were able to get to restaurants and shops very easily. Unfortunately, this house is not within walking distance to the beach, as the listing mentions. The “beach” that it refers to is marshland across the highway, with nowhere to set up chairs, umbrellas, etc. Additionally, the instructions for using the door locks were unclear and we struggled each time on unlocking the different doors around the house. Two bedrooms were located in a separate area of the house, which was not communicated at all in check-in instructions. The kitchen was not well stocked (no basics like coffee filters, salt/pepper, etc) and there was not enough dishware and silverware for our group size.
