We had a fantastic stay from start to finish! The accommodations were just as described & incredibly cozy. The host was incredibly proactive with check in & check out instructions. The bed was surprisingly cozier than expected. Great little disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city!

place is beautiful however the wood stove doesnt keep you warm. my first night was -15 imside the cabin with a wood stove. not ok. the ladder is not nailed and very unsafe i fell through the first step from the top. i think the ladder was put in wrong. overall nice place but not safe. the cleaning fee of 75$ was unfair the bathroom was no clean woth garbage in it. the place was cluttered and disorganized i have to wipe down all areas and it was black.

Needs signage to find the cabin. Fire place much to small for this time of year, I didn't think it was that small, like the size of my hand, after 4 hours of trying to heat the place we ran out to get gas to start the generator. Even the electric fireplace could not keep up and I slept with my winter coat and tuque on. It was not very comfortable. Also this small fire place sits over 5 feet on a shelve and heat does rise so the main floor is always cold, a fire place should be big enough to put a log of wood in and sit on the floor. Also there should be an axe available, or you should be told to bring one. Also getting up the loft is not easy the ladder abuts the wall at the landing and there is a big leap from the top step up to the loft. I'm not 20 anymore so it was difficult for me to get up there. The place was clean, it was quiet and the sky was beautiful at night, we even heard some coyotes. I would go again but in the spring when the weather is warmer when you don't need heat.

It’s a little difficult to find because it’s THAT private, the adventure is in the hunt, right? Maybe some signage to direct where the cabin is. The tiny wood stove was perfect for heating the cabin, especially at night when the temperature was chilly was but it was cozy in the loft. Extra blankets is a must for colder weather. Overall it was okay, it would have been better if I was more prepared with cooking pots/bowls for cleaning up, no garbage bags or can was provided. But that’s okay we burnt most of what garbage could in the massive fire pit they have. The night sky was memorizing because of how clear the stars were, even saw a few shooting stars. I would stay again for sure! Thanks for the great experience:)

This was a beautiful and cute getaway. Very secluded from the outside world (she isn’t kidding when she says your phone does not have service while you are there, which is totally fine). I recommend downloading all music you’d like to listen to while you are there.She has provided lots for you which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, we did have an amazing time and would book again for sure. The only two cons: I would recommend the owner placing a sign where to turn off the dirt road. We arrived around 8:30pm, and it was very dark, so we did have troubles finding the cabin. The other con was the condition of the porta potty, smelt pretty potent and the last cleaning date (maybe it wasn’t updated), was quite some time ago. Other than those two things, this place is great! Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay!
