The 3 bedroom villa with Provence country house charme, beautiful sculpted gardens and pool is situated on top of the hill and has a spectacular view of vineyards in the valley and Mont Ventoux. Apart from the large pool there is a fruit orchard, a swing, and a boule court in the garden. Mènerbes village center is a 5 min scenic walk. The village has two cafés, a shop, various restaurants, galleries and a bar. Villages like Gordes, Roussillon, Oppède, Bonnieux or Lacoste are within close range. Living, Bedrooms, Bathrooms The house is spacious 200m² and attractively decorated in traditional style. The walls are painted in Mediterranean colours, in various shades of the local ocher. Beams, antique furniture, quality art, a large open fireplace provide a special atmosphere. A lounge with 6 m high ceilings and spectacular view across the Luberon towards the Mont Ventoux is the central place of the house. From the hall you enter the spacious dining room and kitchen. Here you find a long table with 8 chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped (fridge, stove, electric oven, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker). In a separate pantry there is a second fridge / freezer. By the kitchen there is a large attractive terrace with an olive tree overlooking the valley (umbrella, table and 8 chairs) Wifi (fiberglass) is available in the whole house and on the terraces. A Sonos soundbar and a small HiFi-System allows you to play your preferred music. A Grotian-Steinweg piano can be used if you are experienced. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. In a separate wing Bedroom 1 and 2 are located on the ground floor. Bedroom 1 is the master bedroom. There is a double bed (2x90x200). You can find the TV (the only one in the villa) in a nice antique wardrobe. Bedroom 2 is located right next to it. Beds can be arranged either as 2 singles 90x200 or one double, as required. It also has a desk which allows you to work. Both bedrooms on the ground floor facing the patio. Across the bedrooms, there is one bathroom with sink, a shower and a separate toilet. Next to it there is a second bathroom with sink and bathtub, plus an additional toilet, for optimal privacy. The mezzanine bedroom has a double bed (2x90x200) and an ensuite bathroom with sink, shower and toilet. It also has aircondition, as the top rooms normally are getting warmer than ground floor which usually keeps agreeable temperatures even on hot days. Pool & Garden There are multiple terraces around the house and in the garden to enjoy the sun or relax in the shade. A terrace behind the dining room is ideal for breakfast enjoying the sunrise. The sheltered terrace (table, bench, 4 chairs) at the patio is a good alternative for the evenings and during the spring and autumn. On the patio there is a second stone table with two benches. During the summer this is a nice place to enjoy the shade (4 sunloungers and a small table in the shade with 6 chairs). The laundry room with Miele washer and dryers is located on the ground floor. The pool is located on the other side of the house within a spacious garden with an old olive tree and an orchard of fruit trees. It is about 20 meters from the house. The pool has a generous size (11×5.5 m) and goes to a depth of 2.75m. The pool works with salt electrolysis, has an alarm system and underwater light for swimming at night. The terrasse around the pool is of travertine stone. At the side, there is a terrasse with a table and chairs for 6 and an electric bbq. (No open fire allowed here). There are six sunbeds with cushions and umbrellas. Also, luxurious pool towels are provided. At the pool you have a wide view over the valley. Swimming in the pool you can see the Mont Ventoux in the background through a bed of roses. The garden has many trees, shrubs and flowers (roses, rosemary and lavender). A bit further away from the pool there is a 'Jeu de boules" court and a swing. Boules are provided. Both will be fun for your children to enjoy. Linens, towels for the bathrooms as well as big towels for the pool are provided.
