The house was perfect for our stay in Butler. It felt like a home more than a rental. Mary responded to my text very quickly when I had a question. The items Mary left in fridge for our arrival were so unexpected and greatly appreciated. We enjoyed our stay at the house/home and our time with family!! Thank you Mary for everything.

Had a great birthday weekend. Close to Mohican to go kayaking. Loved the open space. Had lots of games at the large dinning table. Host was always quick to respond. Would definitely rent again.

Our book club stayed at the house for a retreat and a bit of sightseeing the next day. We cooked dinner Friday evening. The kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. The setting was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Mary had left eggs, bread, butter, and milk in the fridge for us for breakfast. She had brochures of points of interest in the area and a list of restaurants. She went out of her way to anticipate every need. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

Overall we had a nice stay here, the river was peaceful. When we arrived there was a sharp knife left on the kitchen counter, food on the floor, and the most bothersome was the ants all over in the kitchen, crawling on the dishes, the floors, counters; living room(crawling around on the floor); banisters to the stairs; up the trash can. Aside from the amount of ants making it seem dirty, we had a nice time.
