Due to its unbeatable location in Prague 1, the Old Town, you have easy access to all the tourist hotspots, as well as the extensive Prague public transport network. No need to even take the subway/tram/cabs as it's within walking distance of all the main tourist spots. Just 2 minutes walk to the Charles Bridge and 3 minutes walk to the Clockwork at Old Town Square. The metro stations Staromestska and Mustek are few minutes walk, as well as tram stops Karlovy Lazne or Staromestska.
The entrance is just the opposite of czech most famous traditional pub „U Zlatého tygra“ (Golden Tiger), which was base for many czech writers and artists, also visited by US president Bill Clinton with Vaclav Havel.

If you wish to go shopping, the shopping centers and shopping districts are all easily accessible too.
Because of the location in the heart of town, you can do most of your exploring by foot, but the vast tram, bus and metro networks allow you the freedom to travel further out of the center as well. And because of the city’s central location, other attractions such as castles, spas or the (in)famous bone church are all but a day trip away.

I could arrange a door-to-door Prague International Airport taxi service. If interested, please let me know your flight details (arrival time, number of flight, from which destination) and the driver will be waiting for you in arrival hall with sign with your name. It is 750 CZK (32 EUR) / OneWay for the group up to 4 persons with 4 normal luggage. If more people or if you have big or a lot of luggage I can arrange the minivan which fits up to 8 people (price is 1100 Czk/one way or 46 EUR). The fix price is in Czk as the exchange rate is changing a lot.

The tram stop Staromestska is 200 meters (3 minutes walk) from the apartment. The metro station Staromestska is just 300 meters (5 minutes walk).
From the airport by public transport (duration approx. 50 min): buy a ticket for 40 Czk/person (you can buy it also in the bus), go by bus number 119 to NADRAZI VELESLAVIN (last stop) and change for metro (subway). Take the metro (subway) at NADRAZI VELESLAVIN - green line A. Go to STAROMESTSKA stop, it is 5 stops only. Exit the train, go to the left, go upstairs (escalators) and you are in a vestibule. Then go to the left exit (to Kaprova street and Old Town Square), then go to the right to Valentinska street, cross Marianske namesti (Marianske square) and continue to Husova street and after 100 meters, you will find Husova 14 (blue plate). The entrance is between the restaurants.
From the Main train station take a tram No. 9 or 5 (the tram stop is 2-3 minutes walk in front of the station) and go to VACLAVSKE NAMESTI stop. It is just 1 stop. From the tram stop go to the metro (subway) and go to STAROMESTSKA stop, it is 1 stop only. Exit the train, go to the left, go upstairs (escalators) and you are in a vestibule.
