Great location, right next to the water and secluded from urban areas. Long dirt road with large puddles though it is easy to access. No Wi-Fi during my stay but enjoyed the disconnect from electronics. All together it was a great time and experience with a helpful and responsive host.

We understood that we were renting an older mobile home however we never expected that several of the windows wouldn’t close. We tried to apply tape over the large openings and accidentally cracked a window. We then had to apply a towel over the window with tape to try to prevent rain and mosquitoes from getting in. We made the host aware of this the moment that it happened, which was the day of checkin on Sunday. She promptly replied that she would handle it. It was Wednesday afternoon before we heard anything else from her. Then she wanted to charge us an outrageous amount to replace a window that wasn’t even working to begin with. I questioned her amount and asked to just handle it through AirBnb so we would have someone else’s opinion. Once filed through Airbnb, she again added more charges stating we left the house a mess which was not true and charging us to replace the towel. Unless you want to sleep with mosquitoes and deal with a rude host, I do not recommend.

Cute getaway. This place has some hippie vibes with mushroom decor and the lights outside! The kitchen worked well for us. It is true that the AC does not reach the bedrooms well but it helps to open the doors because the rest of the place is nice and cool! I visited during a very hot weekend and the water was also high. Also know that there was not wifi, Verizon had service, at&t did not, but it was nice to unplug!

If you are looking to "unplug" you couldn't ask for a more perfect hideaway! It takes a few minutes just to get down the driveway, but once you're there: it's just you and the river... Our family had a wonderful time just putting down the devices for a while and enjoying being for a while. There is a nice little shed dedicated to ping-pong, but while it is fun anytime: The entire place really comes alive at night! The strung lights above the deck and the blacklight in the shed work to create an atmosphere that is hard to capture with words, but is truly peaceful and enjoyable. There is a small little spot to enjoy a campfire at night and make s'mores. We loved sitting on the deck to watch the sunset and sunrise.
