While our home is not in a traditional neighborhood, we are in a very nice upscale residential area with neighbors nearby- so we ask that you respect the neighbors and give them their privacy, so no playing loud music or staying out after dark in the backyard. We are located just off the Savannah Country Club - you can ride bikes from the house into the main shopping of Wilmington Island if you're feeling adventurous, however, please use caution along the main road until you get to the official bike path!
Savannah Country Club is home to a Donald Ross designed, championship golf course. The 6715 yard, 18 hole, par 71 course boasts picturesque fairways and small well-bunkered greens that offer an experience that is enjoyable yet challenging. Other features include:
A grass tee driving range with measured targets
A short game practice area with sand bunker
Chipping and putting greens
Savannah Country Club clubhouse features a fully stocked pro shop with locker room facilities. Savannah Country Club has been a TOP 100 club fitter in 2016, 2017, and 2018.
Want to know some cool local history? We are located just down the road from the old "Sheraton Hotel" which is now a condo building. In its time, the resort was an elegant and off-the-path destination that was an exclusive playground for mobsters, Hollywood royalty and the local Southern gentility of high society. The majestic 1927 hotel building that dominates the fairways was originally built as the General Oglethorpe Hotel and Golf Club, and for a time the complex was owned by the Teamsters Union. It is now a luxurious condominium property.

Easy to grab an Uber to our home from the Savannah Hilton Head Airport - or to take one from here to downtown Savannah or to the Beach on Tybee Island! We are halfway between Savannah's historic district and our local beach at Tybee! There are also nearby bike and walk paths that will lead you to local restaurants, and shopping - but this should be reserved for those up for an adventure. If you're wanting to just go grab something quickly, we have multiple groceries stores within less than a 5-minute drive of the house with plenty of parking!
