Bring your family and friends to enjoy the great outdoors and adventures We have 500 acres to explore and enjoy the great outdoors 1300 square feet of living space. 1.5 bath rooms, sleeps 6 comfortable, big kitchen and dinning room, enjoy netflix as you wind down for the night.

We wanted to get away and relax in nature and we sure found it here. It's a big log house and it's beautiful. The property is on a few hundred acres of hilly forest, it's awesome. The host, Josh is obviously serious about hosting and was 100% fast and helpful with replies to our questions. They have a local horse that thinks it's a dog, a small rock climbing wall, a super cool Hobbit sauna, fire pit, comfy beds, great kitchen and miles of peaceful quiet. Loved it!
Cougar mountain getaway was such a beautiful place to stay and have a Christmas Holiday. Elisabeth and Josh were the most gracious hosts, very accommodating and helpful. The sauna, fire pit and snow covered We will definitely be back. Perfect place for a family or friends wanting a getaway!
What a wonderful retreat! The description on AirBNB doesn’t do justice to just how special this place is. It is an exquisitely built log cabin, with a beautiful kitchen and a spacious living space. Perfect for a get-together of family/friends. It is located off-the-grid in a wellness compound. There is a sauna and spa facility with yoga studio which you can use if you make arrangements far enough in advance. The best part of the visit was a friendly old horse who roams the property and greets the guests in the morning, as well as the very generous hospitality of the kind hosts. It is definitely out of the way (a bit of a drive from Rock Creek), but if you are looking for a peaceful and restful place to spend some time in the quiet of the forest, this spot is magic. A destination in its own right.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Josh was an amazing host and thinks of every detail. The cabin was spotless, so well kept. The kitchen had everything you could think of. The ambiance is incredible! Beds are comfortable. We Had never been in a wood-burning sauna before, this is my chose from now on, really enjoyable. We will definitely will be coming back! I slept right through the night and off every morning for a bike ride...Saw Eagles, Owls, the bird life is a wow factor. I just love the place and want it to be mine!
Very clean with the best equipped kitchen of all my airbnb stays. Host was super helpful even help me with my broken car.
