We spent a heavenly 3 days at Burpeepal cottage. The views, the trek to the river, the phenomenal food cooked by Sukhmayee, the polite and friendly staff and owners, we enjoyed them all. My children couldn't have asked for a better tryst with nature and we couldn't have had a better getaway from city life. Hope to return some day!

Kaushalya’s house (cottage) is truly amazing. Impeccably decorated. All 4 bedrooms with extra king beds, clean linen, room service everyday (rare for Airbnb’s). Two cooks and a server served breakfast and dinner to our liking. Most fun thing was the three dogs (German Shepard and two side kicks). The dogs were ready always to guide us in the trails around the house and to the river at the bottom of the mountain. We were served hot milk from cow on premise. We have already recommended Kaushalya’s house to our friends. We will likely return again.

Beautiful cottage in an amazing location! Every room has a beautiful view. We really enjoyed our time here and even got to spend time with their adorable dogs. There’s lots of space and the food prepared was delicious as well. Would love to come back sometime!

Located at the precipice of a lush valley, Burpeel enjoys gorgeous views all around. Mountains in the distance and a deep-sea of green descending far below. Its luxurious lawn will rejuvenate weary travelers. Take a seat, and lose yourself in the vista with a warm cuppa. Far from the clamor of the city, all you hear is the quiet sound of nature as the valley breeze washes over you and stunning views envelope you. Stay a moment, and you’ll find yourself wrapped in a serene solitude that is hard to leave behind. Move indoors, and you will be met with a glorious rustic charm. Each corner is tastefully styled for a vintage appeal that suits the mood—leading you to feel teleported to another time of peace and solitude. The rooms offer a spacious, airy feel, especially with high ceilings. Expected standards of comfort and hygiene are well met. You will find good sleep and a quiet cocoon for rest and recovery within. With all that it offers, the resort is also home to a fantastic staff. Each member moves tirelessly, meeting all your requirements without skipping a beat. When addressed, they respond with a warm glow and a soft smile, always happy to serve and ensure your utmost satisfaction—a huge shoutout to Lepcha Ji for extending his generous hospitality and serving us teas and coffees non-stop. By the end of your stay, you will find they more than earn a handsome tip and your gratitude. Burpeel offered us a hands-down brilliant experience. In fact, we will definitely be revisiting this resort when we find ourselves in that part of Sikkim again. Even if it requires a detour, this amazing resort is well worth the visit. Highly recommended.

Staff is cooperative and helpful. Wonderful people. Peaceful stay with the sound of river. A little away from the city making it a perfect getaway from day to day life. Just chill and enjoy your stay here.
