Had a great stay, house and location are exactly as shown in pictures. Nathalie is a A++ host, from clear and helpful communication, to going above and beyond when the rental had an issue with the hot water heater on a Sunday, and she arranged for it to be repaired same day within hours of getting my message. She provides Netflix access via a guest account, plus you can view 50+channels via the Roku service. Due to time of the year, late fall, I did not have to the opportunity to use the great patio, bbq, and outdoor fireplace, but since the first snowfall of the year occurred, the indoor fire hearth was a great amenity, with the nearby IGA having supply of firewood. I had an extended stay of 15 days as I was in the area for work, and would definitely consider returning again in the future, if there for work or on vacation.

The house is well located to access SDM, E47 and VBN for mountain biking and an easy 30 minute drive to downtown Quebec. The views of the river are incredible and the house was comfortable. There is a nice little beach on the property from which we swam in the cold and flowing Jacques Cartier river. The only drawbacks are that the full bathroom is in the basement and the staircase to get there is incredibly steep. Also, the road beside the house is almost like a highway, lots of cars driving fast made it noisy, even late into the evening on most nights.

Très beau chalet et les photos de la rivière ne rendent pas, à sa juste valeur, la beauté du site et surtout le son apaisant de la rivière. Autres points, nullement négatifs soit dit en passant, le chalet est près de la route et je dirais qu’il y a pas mal de trafic aux heures de pointe et le terrain aux abords de la rivière est escarpé donc à faire attention avec des enfants. Mais il y a une belle accès à l’eau pour aller jouer avec eux. Question de stationnement nous étions 2 pick-up et c’était correct. Merci Nathalie.:)
