Established May 11, 1891 by William Renner, this lovely tiny home is unique with enough space for you to be comfortable, but also enjoy the tiny home feel. Newly restored. It’s in an excellent location, right off the freeway and neighboring the most visited park in Kansas, Shawnee Mission Park. It’s a unique opportunity to stay in an environment that is still standing from when the settlers were headed west via the Santa Fe Trail. Free parking and free wifi. Come stay at this unique getaway! This Tiny home is a total of 300 sq ft bi-level with an open layout first floor with a kitchen, table, futon and TV. There are fairly steep stairs with railings on both sides that bring you up to a cozy bedroom with a queen bed, full bathroom, closet and workspace with a sit to stand desk. You will likely have to duck your head going up and down the stairs because people weren’t as tall back then! It has basic needs to make small meals (sink, refrigerator and freezer, microwave and toaster oven, electric stove top, kitchen, utensils). There is no conventional oven or dishwasher. The tiny home is most compatible for 2-3 adults, however there is a small futon that one adult or 2 children could sleep on and room for a pack n play in the bedroom (which is why it says it allows 3 people).
