Muralto Nest is situated in the middle of the historical center of Como, in the heart of the medieval city characterized by intricate and picturesque pebble streets lined with elegant boutiques.
This zone of Como is located between Piazza Duomo, where it belongs the gothic style Cathedral, and Piazza Volta, Center of the Nightlife where bars and restaurants are located.
From this apartment it is possible to reach in a few minutes by walk Piazza Cavour, where ferries docks, and Lungolago, with it belong its extraordinary walks that bring to Villa Olmo or Villa Geno.

It is easy to reach the city's Cathedral and discover its history and unique architecture, or admire Palazzo Terragni, an almost singular example of Italian Rationalism. From Muralto's Nest you can wander through the picturesque alleys of the city to reach the Basilica of San Fedele, then the Voltiano Temple on the lakefront, and why not, the navigation dock: from here, you can embark on a new journey to discover the Lake and its historic villages.
Kindly consider that the apartment is located in a pedestrian area, so in a traffic limited zone. If you’re coming by car, you can reach it directly by car JUST TO DROP DOWN your luggage, as we have a special permission for our guests. In this case, we kindly ask you to send us a picture of the back of your car, in order to record your license plate number properly. Moreover please note that the nearest parking that you can consider are:
- Parcheggio Centro Lago located in Via A. Sant'Elia, 6.
- Autosilo Valduce located in Viale Lecco, 9.
- Autosilo Comunale located in Via Adriano Auguadri.
- Viale Varese.
- Parkings of the stadium located in Viale Giuseppe Sinigaglia, 2 (please note: you can not park there on the days when football matches take place, otherwise they will remove your car!).
There are also some parking spaces in the street in the blue lines around the city center that are free of charge from 8pm until 8am, while during the day they are on payment, around 1/2€ per hour. Otherwise, outside the city center you can find some white lines parking spaces, just few of them.
Please remind that the yellow lines parking spaces are for residents only!
