The Hummingbird (or Y Colibryn in Welsh) is a 500 year old Grade 2 listed building in the market town of Denbigh. The newly refurbished front flat has all the modern amenities that you would want, whilst retaining beautiful period details. The flat overlooks the high street, with shops, bars and restaurants a short walk away. There are fantastic hiking & cycle routes and a blue flag beach nearby, and five UNESCO world heritage sites and Snowdonia National Park around an hour's drive from here. The building has recently been refurbished throughout. The front flat combines original Tudor woodwork with brand new modern kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, and has contemporary interior décor throughout. The flat is on the second floor, at the top of a beautiful 1670’s staircase. It has a bright and airy sitting room with a large sofa that houses a 'quick to put up' generous double sofa bed. All bedding for the latter is stored within the sofa itself There is also a dining table (extendable), four chairs, a smart TV with Freeview included and streaming service so you can access your own subscriptions as you wish. The main bedroom has a king size bed and chest of drawers, and is furnished in rich, but soft fabrics. The window overlooks a quiet, internal courtyard. The kitchen is fully furnished with a dishwasher, washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, plenty of cooking pots and utensils, a fan oven and grill and a large family size fridge freezer. As there is a local Co-op less than 3 minutes walking distance, it's easy to source and cook your meals as you wish. The bathroom contains a bath with shower over the bath, toilet, basin and heated towel rail. As the bathroom for the flat is an en-suite, it is best suited for two adults and up to two children. There is high speed Internet access at the property. All fixtures, heating, plumbing and electric are new so it is warm, efficient and up to modern standards.

Beautiful apartment in a great location. Hosts left milk, butter, Welsh cakes and wine, which was a lovely touch. Daniel was very helpful, would definitely recommend staying here.
Denbigh Castle is a ten minute walk away with lovely views. The Offa's Dyke walking trail starts about a 15 minute drive from Denbigh.
In term of amenities, there is a Coop supermarket on the other side of the high st with Morrisons, Lidl and Aldi also in town. The Mayflower Chinese takeaway, Ken's fish and chips, Cardamon Indian restaurant and takeaway and the Guildhall Tavern are all within a couple of minutes' walk from the flat with Con Amici Italian restaurant about ten minutes walk away.
Aside from the Guildhall Tavern, you will find a number of other pubs in the local area including The Plough, The Hand and The Masons Arms. There are some lovely places to eat a short drive away such as The Dinorben Arms in Bodfari , The White House is Rhuallt and The Llindir Inn in Henllan.
There is paid parking just by the property which costs £3.50 for 24 hours or there is free on-street parking a five to ten minute walk away.
There are regular buses from Denbigh to Rhyl where you can get connections to the North Wales coastal towns nearby. Trains from Rhyl go towards Holyhead and Chester and beyond.
There are also buses to Ruthin, Wrexham and Mold.
