Janet's Raffine is incredible. What a beautiful place to recharge, take in natural beauty, and really feel at home. Janet has taken great care to create wonderful "sitting spots" across her property, both inside the house and outside the house. One of the most amazing elements of this house is how expansive the property is and what Janet has done with that space. There are lounging spots around the pool area that each have their unique feel and vantage point of nature... there are different table/chair arrangements on the outside property that offer wonderful coffee/tea/dining opportunities in the open air, including the pool house dining table, which is covered and very comfortable for any of the main meals of the day. And the courtyard just outside the kitchen! Wow! What a wonderful spot for breakfast to start the day! Inside the fireplace has a huge hearth and is a wonderful way to wind down after the day. This place truly is remarkable and Janet is wonderful as a host.

Our stay at La Raffine couldn’t have been more idyllic. The grounds are an artist’s dream, with views of lavender fields, olive orchards, and neighboring hilltop villages. We loved having breakfast on the interior patio and dinner by the pool. Thierry was very helpful and accommodating, and Foued drove us to several of the hilltop towns for one of the days of our wonderful stay. He was thoughtful, knowledgeable and much fun; it was a lovely day. Janet was helpful, friendly, and accommodating ; she exudes warmth. We couldn’t have found a more beautiful place to stay in Provence. Milles mercis à tous!

La maison de Janet et Jean Pierre est à l’image de ses propriétaires, très accueillante et chaleureuse. La propriété est très soignée et bien entretenue. Janet a beaucoup de goût, la propriété est décorée avec de jolis objets et il existe plusieurs lieux de quiétude pour se détendre. Nous avons l’habitude de louer des maisons et la Raffine1 est de loin la mieux équipée. De plus , de façon très généreuse, les propriétaires vous laissent avoir accès à leurs vaisselles, bibelots, livres et équipements, ce qui témoigne de la relation de confiance qu’ils établissent avec leurs hôtes. Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable avec les propriétaires très discrets et attentionnés. Le seul bémol à notre séjour est d’avoir eu à partager ensuite avec les locataires de l’autre maison , très présents , les espaces extérieurs ( piscine et pool house) , ce manque d’intimité nous a gêné. Mais hormis ce point , la Raffine reste un endroit merveilleux, parfaitement situé pour visiter le Luberon.
