Recientemente, mi familia y yo tuvimos el placer de alojarnos en Casita Roja, un encantador retiro en Envigado, para celebrar mi cumpleaños número 50. Nuestra experiencia en este lugar fue nada menos que excepcional, gracias a la cálida hospitalidad de John y las deliciosas creaciones culinarias de Gloria. Desde el momento de nuestra llegada, John se destacó por su extraordinaria colaboración y atención al detalle. Su enfoque en la hospitalidad genuina y personalizada hizo que cada momento de nuestra estadía fuera especial y memorable. Es evidente que John no solo es un anfitrión; es alguien que realmente se preocupa por la experiencia de sus huéspedes. El entorno de Casita Roja es verdaderamente un pedacito de cielo en la tierra. Rodeado de naturaleza y con un ambiente que es a la vez prístino y acogedor, el lugar ofrece la perfecta combinación de paz y comodidad. Estoy ansiosa por organizar nuestra próxima estadía en Casita Roja, un lugar que recomiendo entusiastamente a todos.

The whole experience was excellent, the place is beautiful and very comfortable with amazing views all day and night. It has a small pool-non heated but enjoyable because the weather was warm,. John is very friendly and always checking in to ensure we had everything we needed, he even built a basketball net so my nephew and his friends entertained themselves. Gloria the lady who helped us with preparing our meals was amazing and very friendly. John made us feel at home, he treated us like family, his flexibility was very much appreciated, he made sure that the pets were safe and happy al the time. We could not ask for a better place and a better host.

Where to begin... John & team are so friendly and always available. This home has an amazing location!! We enjoyed going to all the common hot spots in medellin but loved our short drive back to the casita roja every time!!! Such convenient location. John the host went above and beyond in absolutely everything. Responsive. We enjoyed an aunthentic colombian breakfast hosted by John & Team. Casita roja is extremely safe, gated, clean, and has everything you could possibly need. There's even a little store within the home where you can purchase snacks, eggs, drinks, wine, essentials, etc. Our kids enjoyed spending time with the horses, chickens, and farm life at Doña Rosa. Believe all the reviews below! It sure helped me decide when there's so many options! Thank you again for creating such a wonderful Casita. We will be back!

where to begin? from long before arrival John was communicative and warm. we had a flight change and were able to check in a night early. and though our flight arrived near midnight, a driver was there to pick us up. upon arrival we were warmly greeted and had a peaceful, easy night. every detail, every interaction, any need we possibly could have... perfection. in staying here you gain a friend and feel like you know you'll come back someday. we brought our 2 children age 8 and 10 here. they adored seeing (and riding!) the horses nearby, and spending time with the lovely dog Bennie who lives with John. if you want to be wowed by paradaisical surroundings, amazing hospitality and views that cannot be matched, then come here. I've traveled quite a bit and my husband and I agree : this was THE best airbnb experience we have EVER had.
