Groß Lüsewitz is an idyllic village near Rostock where you can relax and enjoy nature. There is a 13 hectare lake next to the castle.

Groß Lüsewitz station is within 4 minutes walking distance. Trains to Rostock run every hour. Within 15 minutes, you will reach Rostock central station and discover the Hanseatic city from there.
The public castle park is adjacent to Lüsewitz castle and includes a tree educational trail. It offers a splendid opportunity for taking strolls throughout the hole year. The adjoining lake has a very good quality of water and can be used for swimming. There is a bathing area, playground and bistro area which offers snacks on the weekends during summer.
The baker’s trailer sells bread and rolls at the castle square on Mondays & Thursdays and the butcher’s trailer sells meat products on Thursdays.
The nearest supermarkets (Edeka & Lidl) as well as a bakery are located 2.5 km from the castle in Sanitz.
