Only 5 minutes to the popular concert venue. A big family home with lap pool, tropical gardens, you’ll instantly feel like you’re on holidays as soon as you enter the door. Minutes to the beach, shops, cafes & a perfect family friendly suburb with parks, nature walking tracks, playgrounds & Sandstone Point beach. 5 bedrooms with 5 King Beds & bunk bed. Sleeps 12! 2 lounge rooms, one for the parents & one for the kids. Plus casual lounge area and open plan dining area & entertainers kitchen, overlooking a tropical oasis & 12 metre lap pool! Complete with a BBQ & outdoor dining area, & deck overlooking the pool. This spacious home is the perfect family retreat or a fantastic place to holiday with friends. Everyone has their own space with 5 bedrooms, 5 King beds, perfect for 5 couples. Bring the boat or caravan, we have plenty of parking space! Linen & towels are only provided for the number of booked guests (maximum 10 towels provided). Beds are made up prior to your stay for the number of guests booked. For example, if you only book 4 guests, then only two King beds will be made up & 4 towels will be provided. Perfect boating area, 5 minutes to boat ramp, & bring the four wheel drive too for driving on Bribie beach! We also have a bunk bed for the kids & TV room for the kids too, complete with kids toys & books. A fantastic family home to enjoy this beautiful beach side suburb, beaches, shops & cafe only minutes walk from our home. Our 12 metre lap pool is solar heated too! Relax on the pool deck overlooking the pool in the peaceful tropical gardens. With our floor to ceiling stacker doors, this house incorporates both outdoor & indoor living & is an entertainers delight! Cook up a BBQ & enjoy time with family & friends. After booking you get an essay of rules, most of which are just instructions and fine, but the one we had a problem with was the ‘visitors’ charge - if you want your friends to come for dinner or bbq they want to charge for them $45 per person for the total nights of the stay. Really ruined our plans. I asked the host for permission to invite 4 people for dinner and was treated like a criminal. We were only 5 in the house so the total 9 was still below the house sleeping capacity. Host was reactive and accusatory. Very unpleasant communication and an unreasonably arbitrary limitation.
Our family enjoyed our stay and were thrilled to have found a home all 3 families could all stay in together. It was huge and so comfy! Everyone commented on how comfy the mattresses were and we each had our own space and privacy. The pool was a great size and temperature was perfect, especially by late morning. We couldn’t quite all fit in one lounge room to watch something together but snuggled up with the cushions - and having the 2nd TV area was terrific. Karen was an excellent host and communicator. During our stay, she kindly adjusted our booking to accomodate a change in guest numbers and pet. The home was as described and was mostly very clean. I shared small suggestions that we felt could do with a little more attention (nothing significant) and Karen was wonderful in her reply. We loved all beds were made up so we could choose which beds to use. A lovely home with space for everyone to play and relax!
We absolutely loved our stay at Karen’s property. We originally had a smaller property and Karen kindly upgraded us to a bigger one to suit our group without us asking. She has a quick response time and is very lovely. The house was immaculate, close to shops and Sandstone Point. I definitely recommend staying here or at any of her other properties. We will be back to stay, as we couldn’t have been happier with our time spent at Karen’s.
