Silvan was the perfect host, helpful when needed (he gave us detailed advice on day trips from Basel), flexible on both check-in and check-out, and never intrusive even if this is clearly his private apartment. The flat is clean, cosy, and thoughtfully decorated, and the kitchen fully equipped with all modern appliances. We felt completely at home. Silvan also prepared free BaselPasses for all three of us. With these passes, you can use Basel public transportation for free and get substantial discounts in most major attractions, including the Kunstmuseum and the Zoo. A very nice stay right at the edge of the Old Town near everything that is worth seeing. Thank you for everything!

This is a great place to stay! Everthing is close by, you can walk to the centre of Basel in 15 minutes. If you don't feel like walking the tram stop is 2 minutes away. Basel itself is a very nice city. Lots of things to do, many great restaurants, musea, activities. Silvan's place is immaculate, great beds, complete kitchen, nice living room. Silvan is a great host, always responded quickly, had the Basel cards printed and ready for us to use. A highly recommended place to stay in the lovely city of Basel.
