Grassmere Cottage is a beautiful heritage style cottage nestled on the Beechmont plateau. Antique furniture, ornate ceilings and period styling create the ambience of an elegant country residence. Featuring a cosy warm fireplace, heated outdoor spa, comfortable beds, you will be able to completely escape the busy hustle and bustle and relax. Located 10km from Lamington National Park you can enjoy the great outdoors, or simply stay in and enjoy the company of people who matter the most. The Cottage features two bedrooms with queen beds, one with en-suite and the other is adjacent to a separate bath/toilet. There is a fully appointed kitchen, a library/sitting room, and indoor and outdoor entertaining areas. The Cottage also features a private outdoor heated spa and BBQ on the back verandah with views over the rolling fields, Rosins Lookout, and glimpses of the Gold Coast in the distance. Guests can relax in the comfortable lounge in front of the fire, or unwind on the outdoor chairs on the back verandah. We supply a hamper and a bottle of local Champagne on arrival. Tea, coffee, and some essentials are provided for breakfast, but guests are encouraged to BYO meals (as there are no grocery stores on the Mountain). We are able to make up the sofa bed upon request. We can also offer ideas for local places of interest such as wineries, restaurants, walking trails to enjoy during your stay.
