If you're comfortable camping in the woods with no amenities -- this might be too posh for that! It's a beautiful and comfortable space on a lovely and peaceful property. While it's a different kind of adventure from camping, it's still a very outdoorsy feel. Come prepared to learn from Johanna's well of knowledge and you'll have a splendid time in a self-sufficient environment. I'm especially appreciative of Johanna's attention toward ensuring we had plenty of firewood and kindling, a full generator, a fire pit with a grill grate, a clean space indoors, and plenty of peat moss for the composting toilet. Tending a fire at night in the wood stove from the comfort of an enclosed space is a completely different feeling from a campfire in the woods. Having running water and an actual toilet is a luxury when my camping experiences are mostly less... modern. Overall, I'm very glad we came to Woodhenge Sustainability. If you're comfortable with camping, you'll love the luxury here!
