Margaret is a great host. She communicated with me a couple of times prior to arriving and then had the home ready earlier than expected. We enjoyed our stay. It is a great place to unplug and relax!

The place was fantastic. such a cool location, right on the river. The host was awesome, beyond accommodating and extremely understanding. our dog got free from her crate and caused some damage. The host's response was "no worries, it happens", and she charged us almost nothing to cover the damages. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for/loves an outdoorsy environment.

The home is in a lovely setting alongside the river. It is the epitome of a nature lover's dream with the sounds of birds and crickets and the many wildflowers growing in the yard. The home itself is warm and friendly with gorgeous pottery available for daily use which her husband created! The beds were comfortable and there were additional blankets available which we Southerners very much appreciated. The appliances were user friendly and well-maintained. It was the perfect get-away spot for anyone who is looking to be "close" to civilization but isolated enough to just relax and enjoy the surroundings. While we were not put out by the lack of internet / cable, anyone booking in the future should make certain to bring their own hot spot until Margaret gets the situation fixed - which I am certain she will. We loved our stay and will not hesitate to stay at this home again.

Very private location, plenty of parking space. Lots of outdoor space to explore.
