Getting to the property was fine. It is a motel. A lot of mine workers use this motel. Reception was very friendly, however I booked for 2 couples for 3 nights but upon arrival we were told that the original room (self contained, 2 x queensize beds) was not available until the next day. I had made this reservation some time ago so was quite surprised that the room was booked to someone else. We were offered a family suite for the 4 of us but requested two separate suites instead. We were then moved to our original room, only to discover that there was only 1 queen size bed and 2 singles, so I was very disappointed in this. Also the television set up was inadequate and we had to get staff to sort the issues out (twice). In all these instances, the staff conducted themselves in a very professional manner. Very clean, beds very comfortable. A bit of maintenance needed - ie carpets were uneven, front door was very hard to open from the inside.

it was very suitable for three ladies. not your normal B & B. More like a motel suite. happy with it all

Great location on Hannans street, it was super hard finding accomodation in kal with less than a months’ notice, but we were lucky with this place!
