This was a great place for our family to gather to celebrate the holidays! Very nice lake views, lovely covered porch that protected us from the rain, well-equipped kitchen, and large dining table. Our host allowed us to check-in a bit early and check-out a bit late, which was greatly appreciated. She also supplied us with a pack 'n play. Check-in was very easy. We carried out food from Twist on Thai Cafe, which was delicious. As indicated in the listing, there are stairs (about 30) leading down to the house which could pose a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. We actually liked the exercise!

This place would be a dream come true during the summer but is lovely in November as well. The view is outstanding. The neighborhood is quiet. The host is really responsive. We found the home well equipped and a fun mix of ocean and lake decor. It took a while to heat up (since it is November) but was cozy once it did. The coziness would have been a stretch if we had more than the 5 adults in our group because "heads in beds" is listed at 9 - I think if everyone is out enjoying the dock, the lake and the porch it would not feel tight. It would be ideal vacation spot for families with children. I would have liked some written instructions in the home though -with instructions like how to work the TV, guidance around recycling vs trash, location of the fire extinguisher and the things to do in the area.

Great place for our family to stay over for the weekend. Comfortable and beautiful. The lake is amazing.
