Curl up with a book or movie, battle it out with a board game, or take in the stars with our outdoor fire pit. This is a 5.38 acre property with a cozy cabin on Elk Creek. This cabin supports 6 guests ONLY regardless of age. Any more guest will not have a sleeping space. Also on the property is an RV pad with 220 and 110 power outlets rented to RV travelers. Additionally is an historic miners cabin, currently not for rent. Please do not walk on the miners cabin deck as it is unsafe at this time. The beautiful little waterfall is a beaver dam, and is protected by a trail cam. Please enjoy the dams wonderful sounds, however, do not bother the beavers! The foot bridge is part of this property and leads by trail to the highway. On the other side of the property, past the miners “dry” cabin, is a path that leads to the forestry airstrip. There is a path along this route to the old mining town of Idaho City. It is 1 mile along this path to the town. You may bring your ATVs, mountain bikes, and horses in the summer; snowmobiles, cross country skis and snow shoes in winter. ATVs: please do not drive them on the property any faster than 5mph to preserve the properties non-potholed aesthetics. Idaho City is ATV friendly. There are many trails to discover for ATV fun. PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS NO ACCESS TO TRAILS FROM MCINTYRE GULCH ROAD. IT IS A RESIDENTIAL ROAD ONLY. GO DIRECTLY FROM MY PROPERTY TO HIGHWAY 21 ONLY. Pets: DOGS ONLY PLEASE, NO CATS. Horses: The property is rated for horses. However there is no corral, hay or water trough. If horses were to find their way to renting stays, I might be persuaded to add some horse amenities!
