Come stay at the Cottages at Bear Hollow in Monteagle, TN! With serene surroundings, you can unplug and unwind in nature. Directly next to the Bear Hollow grounds sits the entrance to South Cumberland State Park and the Meadow Lake Trail district. • HIKING: Several hiking trails just 10-15 mins away! • SEWANEE: 15 min drive away from Sewanee: The University of the South • THE CAVERNS: 15 min away from the concert venue, The Caverns! To help us ensure you are booking the right fit for your needs, please read this listing fully before booking: Whether you're seeking a peaceful getaway, a base for outdoor adventures, or a spot to crash after a show at the caverns, this charming space provides the perfect blend of comfort, charm, and convenience. The cottage is just steps away from the South Cumberland State Park Visitor's Center where you'll find some great hiking resources and insights. Some hikes to explore: • Meadow Trail Hike - a short walk great for kids, just next door to the park • Grundy Lakes - 5 miles away, 10 min by car • Fiery Gizzard (lots of trails here) - 5 miles away, 12 min by car Our Yogi Bear Cottage has one bedroom with a queen bed. The space comfortably sleeps two people, however, two more could easily sleep in the living room with a sofabed we've added to the space. The sofabed is great for lounging during the day, but can easily be converted to sleeping arrangements for two. The unit has a kitchen equipped with basic kitchen supplies including a full size refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, and storage space. This cottage has one bathroom. Please keep in mind, this cottage is considered a tiny home, so the bathroom is on the smaller side. The bathroom includes a vanity space, toilet, and shower. Complimentary Wifi! (25mbps) Our favorite feature of the Yogi Bear Cottage is spacious deck! Perfect for outdoor dining, or simply enjoying the fresh air. All guests are welcome to walk and enjoy the beautiful and peaceful grounds on the Bear Hollow property!

there was mouse droppings everywhere in the place was filthy dirty. there are ants that come out every hour. everything was Jimmy rig from the electric to the water I would avoid this place it is a glorified trailer park and it is filthy dirty
Very responsive, and the location is great for being able to visit two of the biggest cities in the state. Lots of great trails. A good camping spot not too far.
UbranNashville was the perfect place for our quick trip to see a concert at The Caverns. Great location and easy to get to.
Super cute tiny home. Exactly as pictured. Perfect for a quiet weekend away. A little hard to find with dim lighting. Had everything we needed to cook. Shower is small but great water pressure and plenty of linens. Clean and tidy. Beds were mediocre. Shuttle service recommended by Urban Nashville was almost an hour late picking us up for the Caverns, so plan accordingly. They did finally pick us up. And they are a business separate from the Airbnb. Urban Nashville was quick to respond to messages and accommodating for a late check out.

You will be located right next to the entrance of South Cumberland State Park Visitors Center (1745 US Hwy 41). Here you can find a playground for the kids and a tennis court as well! The visitor's center serves as a great resource and homebase to exploring the South Cumberland with hikes just mins away by car! You will be 15 min away from Sewanee: The University of the South and just 15 min away from the concert venue, The Caverns!
Monteagle is nestled between Mufreesboro and Chattanooga. It is a great location to get away from the hustle and bustle of either city!
