Our charming cottage hidden in the middle of St Anthony is sure to please! 3 minutes to the best fishing spots on the Snake River, 1.25 hours to Yellowstone Nat. Park, 1.5 hours to Grand Teton Nat. Park and Jackson Hole, 10 minutes to BYUI, 10 minutes from the world famous Sand Dunes, and within walking distance to the legendary Sand Bar on the Henry's Fork of the Snake River. We hope to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We are excited to have you stay! If you are coming to visit Yellowstone National Park for the 2023 season, Yellowstone National Park roads are open April 21, 2023 through November 1, 2023. This 470 sq. ft. cozy hideaway is hidden in our garden behind our massive raspberry patch and is next to both our garage and the alley. The cozy loft bedroom accessible by a ladder (some people think it is steep) features a full-size bed furnished in a wildlife motif. The bed has a 2 inch memory foam topper, and the room has light blocking curtains to assist with your good night's sleep. During the summer months, a portable air conditioning unit is also located in this room to aid with the cooling of the loft. A full service kitchen is included on the main level. Guests may use any of the dishes, pots, pans, stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, etc. Please note that the kitchen cabinet is a work in progress with bottom shelving yet to be installed. The bathroom is small but features a full-size tub/shower, toilet, and sink. As the toilet is on a raised platform to accommodate the drain pipe, we provide a stool to assist you with elimination when you use the toilet. We also provide towels, washcloths, hand towels, q-tips, cotton balls, and flossers, as well as a hair dryer and other consumables such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. Please note: an unobtrusive orange extension cord plugs into the GFCI outlet in the bathroom. This provides power to the TV at this time until an electrician is available to install a separate outlet for the TV in the living room. The living room features a comfy sofa that transforms into a queen sized sofa bed at night with a comfortable memory foam mattress for a good night's sleep. Light darkening blinds in the living room, as well as hand crafted lace curtains, help to ensure you rest well and have plenty of privacy. Charming southwestern decor and wood laminate flooring make this space comfortable and cozy. The outside of the structure is finished with beautiful river rock installed below the board and batten siding! This is a pet friendly unit as we do allow dogs for an additional fee per animal. Our sweet cats live on the property as well and will probably greet you at the door. If you plan to bring your cat, pre-approval must be given. Up to 2 pets are covered by the pet fee. If you have additional pets, please let us know. Please also note that we are still finishing up trim work on the inside of the cottage between guests. This should not affect your stay or the functionality of the cottage.
