Stayed here for my sisters wedding and to do some hiking with my boyfriend and our dogs and it was amazing! Its super cute, was completely stocked, and definitely a great place to wind down!

This place is awesome, very private, beautiful landscaping, and great value for the price. Great host for this property who has thought of everything! Very well stocked and lots of extras. Saw beautiful deer out the window in the morning. As other reviewers have stated, there is a mile and a half windy road up to home so be prepared to arrive with some daylight to negotiate the first time. No WiFi at home at this time so keep that in mind- I have AT&T and had one bar at the location- enough for calls and slow internet if needed, so keep in mind. But so much to do in the area kept me busy away from the home anyway so didn’t mind at all. Awesome location, close to so many hiking spots and state parks. The best rental in my opinion! Very clean as well.

When we arrived at the Bird’s Nest cabin after traveling from our daughter’s graduation from Clemson, we quickly found all of the comforts at this home away from home. It was clean, charming and anticipated every need a family might have while staying at the Bird’s Nest. We enjoyed family time hiking, playing corn hole, making s’mores on the fire pit and ended the late night watching a dvd. This ensured that our family time was truly quality time connecting with each other and we plan to return to enjoy other amenities that we didn’t have the luxury of time to take advantage of on this quick trip. Thank you, Michelle, for thinking of every detail to ensure your guests were not just comfortable but were able to make memories to last a lifetime.
