Keen walkers can take a stroll along the Viking Coastal Trail which runs from Ramsgate around the Kent coastline to Herne Bay. The route takes in the pretty town of Margate (5 miles) with its famous Turner Contemporary Gallery and Dreamland Theme Park; and Broadstairs, known for being Charles Dickens&rsquo; favourite holiday spot, where visitors can learn more about the author at the Dickens House Museum. For a spot of retail therapy, visit Westwood Cross (2 miles), one of Europe&rsquo;s largest retail parks.</p> <p>The front door of this period cottage opens into a welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with two comfortable sofas making it a great place to relax and unwind in front of the Smart TV after a busy day out. The stylish kitchen is separated from the lounge by a breakfast bar with stools, lending itself to getting the whole family together for mealtimes or just enjoying a morning coffee. The well-equipped kitchen offers everything you will need for whipping up a delicious evening meal or a light lunch. The ground floor is completed with a shower room and WC. Heading up to the first floor, you will find the first two bedrooms, a double and a single, and a shower room with WC. Stairs from the first-floor landing lead up to the second floor where there is a king-size bedroom. The final bedroom is accessed from the lounge via a set of stairs leading to the lower-ground floor. Here you will find a king-size room with an en-suite WC.
