Stay at our unique and family-friendly farm cabin and make memories for life! Rejuvenate from the hustle of the city and enjoy the views of farm fields and the famous Alberta skies. This is the perfect place for animal lovers! Dogs, cats, sheep, pigs, horses, cows, chickens and ducks! Fresh eggs, produce and a dip in the pond on a hot summer day sound good? Must love dogs! We have lots of them. Please read on for more information. (4 ppl max. unless 5th is under 3yr) The cabin space is small but mighty and is designed with love and care! The kitchen is fully equipped to make complete meals. The wood finish and the fireplace provide a cozy atmosphere as does the upstairs loft where the beds are. The new and full size laundry machine and dryer are making laundry chores an easy task. The small workspace provides a space to set up your laptop. It comes with a Wi-Fi printer for your convenience and complimentary access to Wi-Fi. There is no TV but some fun boardgames and good books to read instead. If you require, we can provide most everything you could need for your little kids such as kids dishes and cutlery, high chair, travel crib/play pen, toys and books for the little ones. (And very conveniently, the toilet seat has a toddler seat build in already that neatly folds away with the lid if not needed.) The cabin is designed for a maximum of four people! The space cannot be well respected when overcrowded... The only exception to this would be if the 5th person in your party is under 3 years old, in which case we can provide a travel crib for sleeping arrangements. Right behind the cabin, with view of the fully fenced-in pond and some pastures, is a patio table with four chairs. This is the perfect spot to sit and enjoy the spectacular sunsets over the Kleskun Hills to the west. The pond is a fun place to cool off during a hot summer day and you are welcome to enjoy it with us. Please be aware that we use it daily with our dogs to let them cool off, too. In the winter months we turn the pond into a skating rink. Make sure to bring your skates along. One more thought for our fall/winter/spring guests: the fire place is the only heat source. Firewood is provided. Are you happy to make a fire to stay warm? Just to the north of the cabin is the play set, the sandbox and the trampoline all of which our children are happy to share with your child(ren). Only 20ft to the south of the cabin is our "Dog Yard" - the home of our amazing sled dogs, the "Elevation Sled Dogs". An accomplished, highly competitive sled dog team. Their yard is joint by gate to the pond pen. Our dogs use that pen once or twice a day during the summer months to run, play and go for a swim. So don't be surprised to see 10-20 dogs romping around in there while you are visiting. They bark, they shed, they drool, they are full of energy, but they are so so sweet and love the company of our cabin guest. In case you are in the pond pen when it is time for them to use it we will let you know before letting them rush in. You are welcome to stay and play with them, or leave the area if that many pups seems a little too overwhelming to you. It is fun watching them from within or across the fence! Also, located 200ft down the driveway is the main building where we run our 5* Dog Boarding & Daycare facility called "Elevation Dogs". Our family of 6 lives right above the boarding facility. Noise from the dogs is inevitable... If you bring pet(s) there is an additional cleaning fee and some rules to consider. (Please make sure to read the rules section at the bottom.) In case we determine that your pet is not well suited to live in the cabin since it is a fairly small space, we do provide a second option: our boarding & daycare facility which is, like mentioned above, located on the same premises. Potential for noise, something to think about... Since the cabin is located right next to our "Dog Yard", as well as only 200ft from our dog boarding & daycare facility. You will want to ask yourself if you are okay with that? Some noise is inevitable at times here. That being said, all our dogs as are all our other animals are super sweet and fun to be around!
