Amazing centrally located studio! Walide was responsive with the check in and recommendations. The studio itself self was very nice and just right for a solo traveler.
Walide’s place is so wonderful + the location is fantastic, close to the ocean, restaurants, shops, the marché, pharmacies, etc. He has everything you need and thinks/communicates about it before you might even ask. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom a nice size. The view off of the little back porch is marvelous. Walide was also super responsive when I needed additional ideas or recommendations. The area is very easy to access from the train station as well as from the airport, by means of public transport, notably the two tramway lines.
The Carré d'or area borders Place Masséna and Avenue Jean Médecin, the city's main shopping street. It is also close to the old town of Nice.
In recent years, many local and international brands have set up store in the Golden Square in Nice, thus offering a varied commercial fabric that is highly appreciated by residents and tourists alike.
To get around Nice, what could be more practical than the tram? The Studio Haliviera is a six-minute walk from the Jean Médecin station (Line 1 & Line 3.)
Line 3 connects Studio Haliviera directly to Nice International Airport in 30 minutes.
Many bus lines pass by the Promenade des Anglais (1 minute walk).
The Nice Ville train station is 15 minutes away on foot.
As the area is a tourist destination, many passenger cars with driver, and cabs are available.
Finally, it is possible to park either on the street (with a bit of luck) or through the Ruhl Meridien paid parking.
