A fantastic place in Red Bluff! I would definitely stay here again!!! Clean, looks exactly like the photos. All the little extra details are wonderful!
We stayed here on our visit to Lassen, NP. Read a few reviews and were a bit hesitant before booking. Now that we’ve stayed there, saw how much thought, consideration and love went into making a beautiful, spacious and comfortable place to stay, we’re so glad we did! We had ZERO issues with the water getting hot (as mentioned in another review) and no issues with water pressure (which had also been noted in another review) heard no noise, at all! Considering the cost, the spacious size of apartment and its convenient location and cute little town, we would not hesitate to stay again or recommend friends and family to stay. Quite pleased all the way around! So thankful for hosts like these folks who make beautiful spaces for travelers. Loved it!
Minor noise from other guests the first night but still very nice place. Enjoyed walking around the area and exploring different places.
Most of the buildings in downtown Red Bluff were built in the early 1900s after the "gold rush" era (1849'ers). Two of the buildings, within walking distance, the "Cone and Kimball tower" and the "Odd Fellows building," are already designated as national historic buildings and we are trying to do the same to our building. As such, please be patient with us as we are constantly making improvements. Most recently, please note the huge horse mural that was just painted on the west exterior wall of our building, by local artist Lacy Wilson, as part of the Red Bluff mural beautification process. Being in downtown, you are just a few steps away from restaurants, post office, courthouse, thrift stores, boutique shops, auto repairs shops, pawn shops, pharmacies, realtors, nightclubs, dance places, etc. So please expect the usual "downtown" noise, including traffic noise during the day and some at night, especially on Saturday, from nearby nightclubs. There is also a train track 5 blocks to the east that runs about every 3-4 hours, so if you need complete silence at night, this may not be the place for you; otherwise, don't worry, we provide sterile, individually packaged, disposal earplugs. Please keep in mind that the Downtown Red Bluff Association is doing their best to revitalize the downtown area to make it a more friendly, fun place to visit. Activities include Farmer's Market, Art walk, Christmas Parade, etc. We also hope to have a local calendar of events posted soon, but, in the meantime, here are a few highlights:
Farmer's Market
Downtown Red Bluff Christmas Parade
Toy for Tots Toy Drive
Corning Christmas Parade
Chamber of Commerce Breakfast
Santa's Elves Christmas Craft and Vendor Fair
New Years Eve Band, Palomino Room
CHSRA District 5 Rodeo
Bull and Gelding Sale
PRCA Youth camp
Red Bluff Round-Up
Annual Tehama District Fair
Street parking in front and side as well as back parking lot on the premises, all at no charge. There is a rural "Tehama Rural Area eXpress" shuttle that travels on a fixed schedule to Red Bluff, Corning, Los Molinos, Gerber, and Tehama City.
