Emma is an excellent host, gave very clear instructions on how to get to the property as well as park/enter etc. The space was very clean and had everything needed to feel like home and more. The view alone is definitely worth the stay not to mention having a balcony. Conveniently located in one of the nicest neighborhoods West Seattle has to offer with plenty of grocery and restaurant options nearby. Highly recommended to anyone staying in Seattle and looking for an incredible view.
Emma’s place surpassed what we expected. Although there weren’t a lot of space to put our clothes, the unit had everything just in case we forgot something from home. It was clean and had the best view for the price we paid. The blankets smelled clean. The floors were free of dust and dirt. The kitchen had everything I needed. The shower was a bit outdated but we didn’t mind.
Great place to stay and spend some time. Wonderful view, want to visit again (missed getting our bino). Best part was the Seattle Skyline (day, evening and night), stream of plans making an approach to land into SeaTec, Cascade range with the majestic rainier with it's glittering glaciers and finally the always busy port (luckily a container ship was unloading and we got to see the whole load/unload process - Ship <-> Dock -<-> Trucks and Train. The rooms were super clean, kitchen was fully stocked up with tea/coffee/spices and the host was proactive in sharing instructions.
The view is very nice, but it’s not quite as nice as the photos make it out to be. One bed is very comfy, while the other is springs and not so much. The whole place seems to be slipping down the side of the hill as the floor has an obvious slant to it. It’s unfortunate as I never write negative reviews but this one I unfortunately can’t not mention. The road noise is also very loud at night with a main road right outside. The view is the big seller but wouldn’t stay again.
The pictures and description do not do this place justice. It's conveniently located not far off the main highway. Parking is limited to the street, but I never had an issue getting a spot right in front of the house. Entering the unit was easy, however, the outside stair are sketchy especially at night due to being old and wooden. The inside is very clean and neat, and looks like a model home with very minimal normal wear and tear. Both bedrooms are decently sized (perfect for two people) with enough closet space for longer trips, and both beds are extremely comfortable with good quality bedding. My only complaint about the street facing bedroom is that it gets really hot during certain times and there are no screens on the windows. I left the window open for some fresh air and a wasp got in. From the balcony you can see all of downtown across the water and is absolutely stunning at night with all the lights. The hosts were very friendly with great communication. Highly recommended!
The North Admiral neighborhood overlooks Elliot Bay, the Duwamish River, and the Seattle Skyline. The views of the city from the east and the Olympic Mountains and Mt. Rainier to the west really make West Seattle special. Admiral Junction with grocery stores, shops, and restaurants is just an 11 min walk and the famed Alaska Junction with shopping, dining, drinking, dessert-ing, concert going, coffee sipping, wine tasting, and farmers market is just 20 min away by bus or 5 min by car. One of the most popular beaches in Seattle, Alki Beach, is famous for its breathtaking view of the city and mountains, bonfire, biking and the Statue of Liberty replica, water taxi, diving, and many more fun activities.
There is plenty of street parking and no parking permits are required. The two spaces in the driveway are for guests to use but they're first-come first-serve. The water taxi can take you to downtown Seattle in 8 minutes and the bus at Admiral Junction allows you to get to downtown or the airport easily.
Conveniently located: 12 min walk to groceries, café & restaurants / 19 min drive to airport / 13 min drive to downtown Seattle/ 7 min drive to Seahawks & Mariners stadiums
