Enjoy a relaxing stay in our brand-new Townhouse apartment. One of only four developments designed with the discerning guest in mind – this multi-level Townhouse apartment has a stunning modern industrial theme with a splash of Japanese culture. Think New York city loft combined with a Japanese Minka! The multi-level apartment boasts stunning city views from the rooftop, a well-equipped kitchen, 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and plenty of space for all the family. The architects have put a lot of thought into the design of this property, with spacious, character-filled rooms and an abundance of natural light. Welcoming spaces that flow easily from inside and out, creating the perfect place to relax and unwind after a big day out. With a fully equipped kitchen including a fridge/freezer, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, and tea/coffee-making facilities, this apartment has everything you could need during your short stay. You can relax in one of the multiple lounge/dining areas and use the complimentary wifi network anywhere in the apartment. The lounge has a smart TV for guests to access their own Netflix/Stan/Disney accounts easily. There are three bedrooms with Queen beds, clothing storage and ceiling fans. Guests should note that there is no air-conditioning in the apartment; however, each apartment has been planned with sustainability in mind, creating a cross-ventilation system that takes full advantage of the beautiful Brisbane breezes. Our apartment features: * Three spacious bedrooms with Queen-sized, hotel-grade mattresses and frames; * Professional, 5-star, hotel-grade bed lines that are changed after each guest stay; * Two brand new, fully tiled bathrooms, with towels, shampoo/conditioner, body wash and hand wash included; * Spacious kitchen/dining and lounge with soaring cathedral ceilings and exposed concrete walls to really give you the industrial feel. * Large, sliding doors on both sides of the apartment allow the beautiful Queensland sun and breeze to filter through the space; * Open-plan living room with a 50-inch Samsung smart TV, allowing guests to connect to their preferred streaming services; * Fully equipped kitchen complete with a brand new oven, stovetops, microwave, and dishwasher. As well as a full set of chopping boards, dishes and bowls, kitchen utensils etc. – the works! On nights when you’re not exploring the amazing array of local restaurants, guests can use the kitchen for cooking their own meals. We also provide complimentary coffee, tea and milk; * Onsite parking for one vehicle. Guests staying at the apartment should note the following: * As mentioned above, there is no air conditioning at this property. Each apartment has been carefully planned and designed with sustainability in mind. Concrete walls throughout keep the thermal mass of the building low, whilst the large sliding doors and open stair void create a natural ventilation system that encourages a cooling breeze from the lower courtyard area to filter up through the dwelling. * The apartment is split-level with stair access only and no lift. It is not suitable for wheelchairs. * Guests must read and acknowledge our House Rules (**scroll to the bottom of the page) before booking. We booked Mark and Janelle's the morning of our trip. They were super responsive and quick to provide check-in instructions. Easy check-in, plenty of on-street parking, walking distance to the cafes and restaurants, and just a great location overall. Had everything we needed. We had a very enjoyable stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Highgate Hills. The place was really well set up, with a beautiful kitchen, lovely bedrooms and bathrooms. We knew ahead of time about the stairs to bedrooms so it was not a problem, but just make sure you are comfortable with that. The ceiling fans in every room are fantastic for the airflow, and kept the place cool - albeit was in September so only mid 20C days. While the check-in process may seem complicated, the instructions provided are super clear and easy to follow. Having an alarm also gives peace of mind while away for day. It was exactly what we needed and would definitely stay again and explore more of West End. Thanks team for everything, you were super responsive and clear with instructions and communication. Much appreciated.
Great location, a short walk from the heart of West End. Very modern, comfortable and clean. As described. Perfect location if you're using it as a base to get out and about. There is one 3 seater couch to watch TV.
The charming inner-city suburb of Highgate Hill is sought after for its leafy historic streets, gracious Queenslanders, beautiful vistas, river frontage and proximity to West End, Southbank and the Brisbane CBD. Home to cool cafes, funky bars, gorgeous pocket parks, and a plethora of restaurants – Highgate Hill is a great suburb to take a neighbourhood stroll and explore.
West End, Brisbane’s culture hotspot, is a 2–5-minute walk away - a mix of laid-back residential areas with weekend markets like Davies Park.
The beating heart of West End – Boundary Street – is 50 metres down the road and is the perfect spot for foodies, foraging for vintage finds or enjoying a craft beer.
SouthBank is a 15-minute walk away and is home to the SouthBank Parklands – 17 acres of riverfront land featuring free swimming facilities, walking tracks and a year-round calendar of events, including The Collect Markets each weekend.
Little Stanley Street is one of Brisbane’s most popular Eat Streets, with more than 30 cafés, bars and restaurants.
