First, I loved staying at Nick’s place, it’s truly gives you a tree house feel. Very peaceful, green place in the middle of a bustling neighborhood. Great place to work, relax. Not to mention the glass walls with plenty of light but still surrounded by greenery. Nick is a good host and super responsive and also helped me get back something I forgot. We did not want to step out. And that’s part of the reason I am giving a 4 rating instead of 5. We really wanted to stay in and cook and the description made it seem like there was a full kitchen with all provisions but it does not. The stove is a very small induction one and we can’t really cook anything on it. Not many kitchen items either (utensils, pots and pans etc). We ordered food but there was no microwave to heat it up or fridge to store things. There was a freezer but it froze all the things we put in there. At least a microwave and a proper fridge (not freezer) and a proper sink would go a long way.

This place made my stay, on so many levels. The location, the support of the hosts and their personalities, and having a space to relax, work, and sleep well was so important. It is and has been a place I look forward to returning to - while I was in town, and now that I'm gone
