The pros: nice home; looked like photos; responsive host; clean house. Host responded to my concerns of a lack of lighting and broken dishwasher promptly but no repairs done during my stay to fix the problems. The cons: lack of lighting on backyard (extremely dark with two very dim lights) so couldn’t use backyard after dark. Pool was freezing and hot tub never got warm (even after I read instructions and turned it on) and the plastic inflatable exterior had ants on it constantly, so they were unusable during our stay for spring break. Neighborhood was a little concerning for an all female stay. Dishwasher did not work and leaked on kitchen floor. Only two bath towels given per bedroom for the week. For $3400, I think next time I’ll stay in a condo on the beach.
Hôte rapidement réactif ce qui est très appréciable, la maison correspond bien aux photos postées, elle est située dans un quartier à l’écart du bruit de la ville, ce qui la rend très reposante.
Stayed here for my bachelorette weekend, great place for the 6 of us! It was near many of the places we had planned to go to so that was convenient. They were also great with letting us check in a little earlier. Would stay here again!
Buena Vista is located south of Little Haiti, north of the Miami Design District. It is primarily a residential neighborhood with historic single-family homes. It is an up and coming area and makes for the perfect stay during your trip to Miami as it is so close to Miami's hot spots. The neighborhood is safe to walk your dog. People drive fast in Miami so make sure you look both ways before crossing the road. Walking to Design district or Wynwood may not be the safest idea late at night. We always recommend driving, Uber or Lyft as the main form of transportation.

Uber/Lyft is a great option! They are usually very quick to arrive and cheap because most people rely on it in Miami. No need to worry about parking or tolls.
CAR OR MOTORCYCLE
It's useful to have a car or motorcycle if you want to explore beyond South Beach and Downtown, particularly for visiting places like Coral Gables and North Miami Beach.
You must pay for parking nearly everywhere.
Most on-street parking is now done by a smartphone app
BUS/TROLLEY
Rides cost $2.25 and must be paid in exact change or with an Easy Card (available for purchase from Metrorail stations and some shops and pharmacies). An easy-to-read route map is available online as a downloadable PDF.Top tip for taking the bus in Miami: If you have to transfer buses, you'll have to pay the fare each time if paying in cash. With an Easy Card, transfers are free.
The Trolley is actually a hybrid-electric bus service, using modern vehicles disguised as orange-and-green trolley buses, and it functions as a free bus service in Miami, Miami Beach, Coconut Grove, Little Havana and Coral Gables, among other locations. There are numerous routes, though they're made for getting around neighborhoods and not between them. The most useful for travelers are the following
Biscayne – travels along Biscayne Blvd; handy for transportation from Brickell to Downtown and up to the edge of Wynwood.
Brickell – connects Brickell area (south of the Miami River in the Downtown area) with the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens.
Coral Way – goes from Downtown (near the Freedom Tower) to downtown Coral Gables.
Wynwood – zigzags through town, from the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts up through Wynwood along NW 2nd Ave to 29th St.
