Great location. Nice practical space perfect for 2 people for the weekend. Soft bedsheets. Apartment certainly has lots of potential, however unfortunately the walls are very scratched and need repainting and the apartment needs a good deep clean. Should be noted there’s a ring doorbell at the apartment so the owners can see you enter/leave.

Very very central so ideal if you are planning to go shopping in Leeds. Surprisingly quiet at night despite central location and day time noise.

We enjoyed our stay in Leeds at this Airbnb run by Velvet Apartments, however there were several points which I feel make this a 3 out of 5 Star stay. None of these issues were deal breakers, but comparing Velvet Apartments to the many other available Airbnb experiences I've had this felt only fair. they required a £100 damage deposit. This had to be paid via an external website and not via Airbnb. this felt like a scam and goes against Airbnb advice. What is the point of using the Airbnb app if I then have to go to another site to pay more? contact was OK with Velvet Apartments. they agreed to waive the deposit as I have good Airbnb feedback, but they wanted to charge a not insignificant amount for early check in. check in time was 4pm which I feel is very late. they said they would do what they could to get us early check in anyway as my wife was pregnant, but they did not send check in details until 4pm exactly, and only when I sent them a message to spur them on.
