Casona Juarez was lovely! We would definitely stay here again. It feels very private (courtyard shared with 1 or 2 other apartments - great if you’re traveling with friends and family). The location is perfect. The only watch out is that it can be quite loud at night because you are right on a busy street (trade off for great location), so make sure you bring some good earplugs!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in the heart of Oaxaca! The house was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, especially in the warm Oaxacan weather. The host was incredibly accommodating and responsive, making our experience even better. This location is prime and walking distance to the zocalo, Mercado 20 de Noviembre and many other places! We highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Oaxaca!

We had a great stay here, spent a week in Oaxaca in the "Macedonio" unit. Everything was clean, comfortable, spacious--and close to everything. A friendly woman came by twice to clean for us while there. Top restaurants are literally down the block, and you are very close to the churches, plazas, markets. A tiny warning for those who sleep lightly--the Macedonio unit is right on the historical center's busiest street, which is made of paving stones, so the traffic going by is loud. It quiets down from 12-6 or so, but you can definitely hear it when it starts up again. We still thought it was a great space. We also took a minute to realize that the code panel had a little trick--when you first touch it with 3 fingers, random numbers appear. Touch all of those and THEN enter the code. Just fyi.
