We had an excellent stay, great little cabins, location and stunning all round, log fire area was great at night. We had our own little section for the dog so she walk about and be away from others, the service that was provided for us to use around the house the kitchen, BBQ and breakfast area was great. 100% would stay here again.

This place is truly a hidden treasure. We were absolutely delighted at this quirky, rustic but chic establishment. There are so many beautiful and thoughtful little touches. Great open common areas to have an evening drink or barbecue. If you are lucky enough to stay in the River Cottage or Chookery you will not be disappointed by the outdoors indoors design! We were so relaxed, it is peaceful and just charming! I wish we could have stayed longer. Shara and Greg are genuine and good people, you can tell they really care about what they do and pay attention to detail. We really appreciated how easy it was to communicate with them. They have made this place such a unique bnb experience. Our hosts were Mandy and Cathy, they were looking after the place while Shara and Greg were away. They truly were fantastic hosts. We felt so welcomed and at home. We had great chats with them and found them both to be so warm and friendly. They went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional and we can’t thank them enough. Honestly, if you go to Chinchilla this is the only place to stay. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We had such an incredible time and it truly exceeded all of my expectations. I never thought I’d have a reason to return, but this wonderful little gem is reason enough!

Quiet place, very peaceful, was lovely to sit and watch the river, great place to relax as a couple our only downside we just felt it wasn't suitable for our two small dogs, we very much appreciate places that allow us to stay with our dogs, but our dogs had to stay on their leads at all times or we had to lock them in their travel cage, otherwise a great place to stay and relax.

The effort and passion that has gone into the presentation of The Laurels is second to none. A beautiful recreation of yesteryear.
