Host very friendly but room in converted cellar had no window, but very clean with big tv. Internet good. Bathroom up two flights of stairs. Not easy. House was cold had to rely on small radiator in room. Cooking was easy. Front door always open.

Nearly 12 months ago, me and my partner booked this room to cover 6 nights staying in the Isle of Man for the TT. We wanted somewhere comfortable and clean, and Chris’ room delivered. The house is situated in Central Douglas, within walking distance to both the grandstand or promenade making it suitable for our stay. On arrival, Chris gave us the option of dropping our bags in early and was very welcoming. He assured us that if we had any queries, he was happy to help. We travelled on my motorcycle, and parking was available on the street outside the house. It is on a permit basis, however this wasn’t required for us. The house had a great range of facilities for us to use inc the kitchen, dining room and living room. Our room featured a kettle, and smart TV with Netflix and various other platforms. Overall, we really enjoyed our nights spent at Chris’ house. The TT delivered fantastic entertainment and we would happily book to stay here again for future events.
