Relax in a bright and spacious home with a unique garden and outdoor space (fenced), walking distance to Gatineau Park and short drive to famous Nordik Spa, Chelsea and Ottawa. You have everything you need: convenience store, gas station, supermarket (Metro Plus), pharmacy and a few local eateries (Italian, Indian) plus nearby playgrounds. Main floor of our bungalow - you will have this entire space for yourself with direct access to the garden; host lives in the basement studio with private entrance when we have guests. -Private, keyless entrance -2 bedrooms with dedicated workspaces -Beds: 1 queen, 1 double; a single bed is available on request and can be added in Bedroom 2 with the double bed -2 bathrooms (1 with bath/shower, 1 half-bath); -fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, Nespresso and French press (Bodum) coffee maker -large dining area and living room with smart TV and Netflix guest account -free WIFI (Max speed internet) -Two USB outlets in kitchen, bedroom 1 and bedroom 2 -Air conditioner (wall unit) -large laundry/mud room with washer/dryer -1 parking space in driveway; there is also free street parking from April to November. Outdoor: -Guests have access to the balcony and patio area (except in the winter...) -2 seating areas for outdoor meals (one for 2 guests; one for 4 guests). -host will discreetly mend the garden when needed and when convenient to guests. Children and infants: -Important: there are 4 small ponds in the garden (May-October), 2 in the guest area. There may also be very small above-ground pool (July to mid-September) in the host area of the garden, which is always covered and not used when we have guests. Adults must supervise children at all times in the garden and make sure they stay in the area of the garden reserved for guests. -Sleeping arrangements available for infants upon request: --Travel / playpen --Single folding mattress -Any questions or special request for young ones, please let me know To manage expectations: -Washer and dryer are shared with host for stays of 7 or more nights, at a time convenient to guests. -A few cabinets in the kitchen, bedroom 1, bathrooms and laundry room are locked for storage, as well as our office.

We just spent a week at Helene’s lovely home. This was one of our best AirBnB experiences ever. The house was perfectly clean, very comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen. Very close to a grocery store and restaurants. Hélène was a superb host, and was kind enough to let use the garage to store our ski gear during our stay. We will definitely stay here again!
Helene was there to greet us when we arrived and enthusiastically showed us around her amazing house. It was larger than expected, beautifully furnished, clean, and had everything that the three of us could need. Beds were comfortable and the house was always quiet. The location is in a nice residential neighborhood. It snowed while we were there and it was interesting to see how quickly snow was cleared from sidewalks, driveways, and streets! We were in Gatineau to cross country ski in the Gatineau Loppet and Helene's house was in a perfect location, close to race start and finish in Gatineau Park. We have stayed in many AirBnb's and this is probably the best that we have experienced. Helene's genuine hospitality made for a very pleasant stay.
It was literally like home! We were made at ease right away when Hélène came over minutes after we entered giving us a tour. The location was perfect for us as our son lives nearby making the visit convenient.
Belle trouvaille, tout était parfait. Accès facile à l’autoroute 5, qui vous mène partout. Nous avons bien hâte d’y retourner en été pour admirer ses superbes jardins et fontaines. Très bon petit restaurant familial à 5 minutes à pieds, Chez Gerry, qui font également la livraison. Merci mille fois Hélène et à très bientôt :)
The place was incredibly clean and was very spacious. Helene took the time to add thoughtful touches to the space which really added to our stay (coffee and tea selection, local tourist information etc). We stayed here while enjoying the Nordic Spa for the weekend. It was a short drive to the spa and into Ottawa for dinner. The cleanliness and amenities included allowed us to feel at home for the weekend. 10/10 would recommend.

-Two playgrounds around the corner; 1 with soccer fields, basketball court and play structure; 1 with water park, play structure and swings and public pool opened June to August from noon to 8pm with lifeguards.
-Minutes walk from supermarket, pharmacy, pizza take-out, medical center, and local eateries
