Banksia 15, Three bedroom two bathroom house in the peaceful village of Kalkite, located on the serene shores of Lake Jindabyne. As you step inside, you'll immediately notice the inviting warmth provided by the cozy wood fire, perfect for curling up with a book or enjoying quality time with loved ones. The open-plan layout seamlessly connects the living, dining, and kitchen areas, fostering a sense of togetherness and making entertaining a breeze. The well-equipped kitchen boasts modern appliances, ample counter space, and an abundance of storage, catering to both functionality and style. The main bedroom is a private retreat, complete with an ensuite bathroom for added convenience and luxury. The remaining two bedrooms provide comfortable accommodation for family members or guests, ensuring everyone has a peaceful haven to rest and rejuvenate. There is also a separate office space/rumpus to give families that much-needed extra space. Step outside onto the spacious outdoor deck, where you'll discover a fire pit & sauna. The deck & firepit are perfect to gather around with friends and family on starry nights. Unwind & relax sore muscles in the sauna so you're ready to go the next day. Ideally located for year round adventures with stunning snowy mountains biking and hiking trips and lake activities all on your door step for the milder months and winter skiing equally accessible with a short drive to Perisher or Thredbo. Bring your outdoor toys to make the most of this incredible location - approximately 5 mins drive to the Kalkite boat ramp, 20 mins into Jindabyne and 40 mins to the ski tube. Lake Crackenback Resort - is located approximately halfway between the town of Jindabyne and Thredbo Village on The Alpine Way. This secluded retreat village offers various activities on site while still being just on nature's doorstep as the grounds neighbour the Kosciusko National Park. hiking, mountain biking, fishing, archery, day spa and restaurants are all on-site. Lake Crackenback Resort also offers easy access to the Bullocks Flat Ski Tube terminal for winter access to Perisher Ski Resort.

The Alpine Way goes from Jindabyne through to Thredbo past Lake Crackenback and beyond. A beautiful scenic drive, the Alpine Way also has some great tourist locations such as Wild Brumby Schnapps Distillery, great fishing and bike riding, Penderlea Horse riding and many other attractions.
Kosciusko National Park Entry Fees Apply - All vehicles entering the Kosciuszko National Park are required to have an entry permit displayed on their vehicle and can be purchased either online or from the Snowy Region Visitors Centre in Jindabyne, Cooma, Tumut or Khancoban.
