Traditional and log cabin in a beautiful mountain area near Rondane National Park. The cabin contains 3 bedrooms with 6 good beds, has washroom with biotoilet, kitchen and a large livingroom. Koselig hytte med 6 gode sengepl. på 3 soverom. Ikke 220 V strøm, men 12 V solcellelys, gass til koking, vedfyring. Ikke dusj. You have to pay 7,5/euro on a toll road to reach the cabin. The outdoor toilet is newly renovated. Note : the tub on the picture is private and is not for the guests to be rented. «Vesleseter» is an old area for traditional mountain farming, where mostly weman in the farmers family had the duty during summer time to take care of the cows. The «Bergumssetra» is such an old mountain farm where my mother in fact took care of her familys cattle for 25 years (summers) in a row!! This beautyful place is located 900 above sea level, on the eastern side of Gudbrandsdalen and about 12 km driving distance from Kvam/Vinstra which is the main shopping center in Nord-Fron. Tollroad where you pay with credit card. Attention: During summerseason (1. June-31.August), the minimum rent period is 3 days. During winter this srea is fantastic for cross country skiing, especially during eastertime, with very well prepaired tracks for short and long cross country hikes. During theese sesons minimum 3-5 nights is aplicable. Also mind there is now access with car all the way to the cabins during winterseason. Norwegian: Stølsområdet er regulert bevaringsverdig og ligger i et fantastisk flott fjellområde, og i kort avstand fra Rondane Nasjonalpark, SjoavRafting center og Jotunheimen nasjonalpark. En rik fauna og flora gjør området attraktivt både sommer og vinter. Det drives fortsatt stølsdrift i form av dyrking av høy på kveene, og noen ganger kommer kuer, sau og hester på "besøk". Egner seg ypperlig for barn som sammen med foreldre kan fiske, gå turer med ulik vanskelighetsgrad og i det hele oppleve å komme nært inn på en tilnærmet urørt natur. På Sulseter, noen få km lenger sør (god bilveg i mellom), er det gode bademuligheter og ridesenter med ulike tilbud om leie av hest for kortere eller lengre turer. Se video på Youtube : Veslesætra
