Your stay is a camping area on a sustainable farm - an ancient orchard surrounded by trees and open sky. The robust bell tent is furnished with a queen sized bed, exquisite linens, and eclectic decor - an alpine mountain chateau sitting comfortably on the windswept prairie. The plush queen bed sleeps 2, but we welcome up to 4 guests in the space - just be sure to bring along additional sleeping bags and pads (there is more than enough room inside and out). Your campsite also includes a picnic table, propane camp stove, potable water, and stone fire ring. It’s all here and ready for your arrival. Allow the magic of the prairie to seep the stress from your bones. Roast marshmallows and read ghost stories ‘round the fire, blow the steam from a mug of hot coffee as you watch the sun rise in an orange glow from the eastern ridge. There is not a shower. Q: Is propane provided for the propane stove? A: Yes we provide propane for you. Q: Is firewood provided? A: Yes firewood is provided, as well as a lighter and kindling that is in little decorative mailbox next to the wood. Q: Is there a trashcan? A: Yes, there is a trashcan. You do not need to worry about hauling away trash, we will empty the trash when we clean the site after your stay. Q: What about washing dishes? A: There is a wash tub, soap and sponge provided. Q: Is there electricity? A: No, this is a campsite. Q: Do I get the whole property to myself? A: This is the only campsite on the farm so you will be the only guest. It is located on our farmstead in the orchard, you can see a bit of the house as shown in pictures. It is in a quiet private spot.
