Miskish Cottage is compact and well-equipped, with outdoor terrace, grassy picnic area and designated parking. It was cosy in December - a perfect base for visiting Beara over Christmas. Maree was very helpful and responsive, and all necessary information was clearly set out in the house manual for easy reference. There was a well-organised waste recycling area beside the cottages, along with composting and laundry facilities, and some very eager hens to feed. Thanks to the hens (and our hosts) for the lovely eggs! A very enjoyable stay, thank-you.

Der Urlaub dort war super schön. Die Wohnung war wie auf den Bildern zu sehen und alles wir beschrieben. Wir haben uns dort super wohlgefühlt und würden diese Ferienwohnung weiterempfehlen.

This is a super place to stay. Maree is a perfect host and the cottage and surroundings are excellent. The ethos of Maree's home is reflected in an ecological approach with super recycling and composting facilities. Maree is extremely responsive, with lovely communications throughout. Maree, you have a wonderful place to stay, and I hope to see you again in 2024 best wishes Kath

We had the most wonderful stay at Marees cottage. We know that part of the world very well because our Father came from there originally. The cottage is like a home from home. Beautiful new bathroom. Kitchen is excellent with everything you could want, there was even tea bags , coffee and salt and pepper ! Maree came back very quickly with the answers to the few questions we had. Her gardens are beautiful. We made great friends with her hen and ducks, they are so tame and funny AND Maree delivered some duck eggs and vegetables from the ducks and her poly tunnel. So very kind of her. Great area to drive around with some wonderful bars and restaurants. We highly recommend Josie’s restaurant which is on the Cork/Kerry border. We look forward to coming back to see Maree next year.
