What a cool cabin with an amazing story! We had everything we needed! We loved hanging out on the screened in porch, walking to the river, and enjoying the fire pit area. The best part was the clean and comfortable bedroom!

My only complaint was the lack of WiFi. I was on a work trip and with poor cell signal and no WiFi, it made things a little difficult. Evolve did mention in the listing that there was no WiFi, but I missed it when I booked. Everything else was wonderful.

We enjoyed our weekend stay at the Wild Fern cabin. The hosts live on-site (across the road) and greeted us upon arrival; we appreciated their hospitality and accommodations. The cabin was relaxing, and we enjoyed learning about its history. The river was high following heavy rain, but we were still able to access it via some of the paths, which added to the enjoyment of the place. Our only complaint was that it was not as remote as it appears in the photos or on the map, and it got a bit noisy at times, but it was quiet on average, and we enjoyed a relaxing weekend, sitting on the back porch reading and relaxing around the fire pit.

This was a perfect quiet place to just get away. We enjoyed the simplicity of it all! We will be back. I would say to make sure you take your own toiletries and don’t forget anything. Bring your own coffee.
